  • At this time, Praxis Works ships merchandise to locations within the United States and U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands.

    Additionally, Praxis Works ships merchandise internationally to the folowing countries : Austraiia, NewZealand, Canada, Mexico, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands, Norway and the United Kingdom. 

    The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.



  • International

  • Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.

    Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. Praxis Works is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.



  • Sales Tax

  • Praxis Works charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped.  Customers in the state of California will be charged at 8% which is Santa Cruz County tax rate.   



  • Warranties

  • Praxis Works, LLC Full Warranty Policy

    This Praxis Works product is warranted under normal usage and to be free from defects in workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase provided the warranty claim is made within thirty (30) days of the discovery of the defect and the following condition is met: The purchaser must obtain advance authorization by calling Praxis at 831-708-2161 before returning any product for warranty inspection. A Return Authorization (RA) number will be issued and must conspicuously appear on the outside of the product's shipping box. The issuance of an RA number does not constitute acceptance of the claim. The determination of whether the claim is covered by this warranty is within the sole discretion of Praxis Works, LLC. The part(s) requiring service or replacement must be returned to Praxis, either by the purchaser or a Praxis dealer. Insurance, handling and transportation charges for service shall be borne by the person desiring service. If a defect is found, our entire liability and your sole remedy shall be, at our option, free repair or replacement of the Praxis product.

    For a warranty claim to be honored, the following information must accompany the returned product:

    1. A copy of the original dated receipt or other proof of retail purchase.
    2. A detailed description of the problem with the product along with the R.A. number.
    3. Identification of the crank brand and model used in conjunction with the Praxis product.
    4. Estimate of product usage (in accumulated mileage).
    5. Your name, street address (no P.O. boxes) and phone number(s) where you may be reached. 6. The product must be securely packaged and sent insured through a traceable shipper.

    The repaired product or replacement will be returned to the purchaser or the Praxis dealer usually within two weeks. Product furnished as replacement will continue to be covered under this warranty until two years after the date of original purchase.

    Limits and Exclusions: Not covered by warranty is damage resulting from normal wear and deterioration occurring from use, accidents, neglect, improper assembly, misuse, abuse, lack of reasonable or proper maintenance, corrosion, any damage resulting from causes other than defects in materials and workmanship; failure or loss by accident, alterations, repairs improperly performed, or replacement parts improperly installed, modifications not recommended or approved in writing by Praxis, labor costs for removal, or compensation for inconvenience or loss of use while the product is being repaired or replaced. This warranty also does not cover cosmetic imperfections in the surface finish, or appearance of the product which were apparent or discoverable at the time of purchase, or damage during shipment of the product.

    There are no warranties which extend beyond the face hereof. All warranties implied by state law, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are expressly limited to the duration of the limited warranty set forth above. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. With the exception of any warranties implied by state law as hereby limited, the foregoing express limited warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, guarantees, agreements and similar obligations of manufacturer or seller.

    PRAXIS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST EARNINGS, DOWNTIME, OR DAMAGE TO OR REPLACEMENT OF OTHER EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PURCHASE, USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRAXIS PRODUCT OR THE BREACH OF WARRANTY EVEN IF PRAXIS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO PURCHASERS IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS. ANY ACTION TO ENFORCE THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE FILED AND LITIGATED IN THE COUNTY OF SANTA CRUZ, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, USA. THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. 



  • Return Policy

    Here at Praxis, we’re a core group of riders and total bike geeks and we believe you should be completely satisfied with the purchase you have made.  Should an item purchased through the Praxis Online Store fail to meet your expectations, we will gladly accept its return within 30 days of original purchase.  

    All you need to do is call Praxis Works customer service at 831-708-2161 and our reps will be glad to talk and set up an Return Authorization for you.  

    • Please note that the following applies to items purchased through the Praxis Online Store only.  Check with your local Praxis Dealer as to their individual policies. 

     1. Call Praxis at 831-708-2161 to speak to a rep about your product.

     2. Praxis will gather your customer information and issue a Return Authorization Number to put on your package. 

     3. You are responsible for shipping charges and insurance of the returned product to Praxis.  Once product is received and checked in your credit card will be refunded the cost of the product and applicable sales taxes.  You should insure your product for it's return as if it is lost/damaged Praxis will not refund.  

      DO NOT send back any product without first speaking to a Praxis Works rep to receive an RA# for your return.  You will not receive a refund without an RA# from Praxis Works.

     

    Exchanges

     Exchanges are not available.  A full return with full explanation will be needed, and a new transaction for correct product will be processed.  Please call Praxis Works for issues regarding product mislabeling or miss-shipping.
